Eric Teasley, 32, was arrested on Tuesday, Feb. 20, the Atlantic City Police Department said in a news release. Officers responded to a report of an "extremely agitated" man with a gun going in and out of a home on the 300 block of North Connecticut Avenue at around 11:38 p.m.
Investigators said he pointed the gun at a woman and also threatened her with violence in front of two children. An officer also found the gun was loaded with hollow-point bullets in the kitchen.
Teasley was charged with unlawful possession of a weapon, possession of a weapon for an unlawful purpose, possession of hollow-point ammunition, certain person not to possess a weapon, aggravated assault, terrorist threats, endangering the welfare of a child, and tampering with evidence.
Teasley was held at the Atlantic County Justice Facility. Anyone with information about the incident should call Atlantic City police at 609-347-5766.
